My story
After a long walk through the streets of Toronto in 2018, I wander into High Park looking for a spot to rest. I sit under the shade of a large tree only to be welcomed with a beautiful woodpecker almost at the top of the tree pecking on the trunk and looking for bugs to eat. Growing up in Saudi Arabia, that was my first time seeing a woodpecker, so I try to take a picture of it using my phone, but it was too far for my phone camera to capture it. I’ve always been somewhat interested in photography, but that day I decided to truly commit and buy my first camera to capture those amazing creatures.
